CAMPING

We had lots of fun camping this past weekend up in Ashton at the Oberhansley family campground. We floated the river a bunch of times. Chris was one serious river guide.

It was a beautiful day! Dylan enjoyed swimming in the little pool that they damned off. Hayley preferred to sit on the rocks, since we saw a few snakes living in the pool's wall.

Dylan had fun throwing rocks all weekend. He kept on trying to take down the swimming pool's wall. Below is Hayley with the Elk antlers that were on the cabin wall.

Mostly we did a lot of eating and had fun making smores. Hayley even got some in her hair! And we got eaten alive by mosquitos. We can't wait to go back again. It is so nice not to know what time it is or have to worry about about where we are going next. Hayley really did NOT enjoy the camping experience. Maybe if we go more she will learn to like it. We are lucky to have such a beautiful spot to go that Chris' family has put so much time and effort into.
