Dylan is 3!!!

Dylan all of a sudden has an obsession with dinosaurs and T-Rexy as he calls it in particular. I think it was the dinosaur museum in Utah. So Chris decorated the cake with some of his toys. He tried to blow out the candles but mostly just spit on the cake. It was a fun party with lots of family. These are my cousins Michael and Megan. They are going to Byu-Idaho right now.

This is Chris' sister Nicole who can eat cake and be happy now since she had her surgery. And these are Chris' parents. It was a nice hot day and Dylan got lots of fun presents.

We got him a new tricycle. Now if he could just figure out the pedalling part.

Hayley's Dance Recital

Hayley had her big dance recital this weekend! We went once a week for 9 months to practice for this big event. She did really well. I took her to the beauty college to get an updo. You can't really see it from this picture but it was all in ringlets in the back. She thought she looked like a princess. The song they danced to was called Angel Lullaby. I thought this picture was pretty because she looks like an angel.

She had lots of fun and did very well. I can't believe how fast she is growing up to be a little lady.

GO FISH

Hayley had her 1st grade musical tonight. It was very cute. It was all four 1st grade classes together and Hayley was a roundup dancer. This has been the year of fish themes for some reason. It was really hard to get a good picture because she was either singing or dancing. So this is what we got. She has been singing the songs around the house for weeks and even Dylan was singing them the last couple of days. She also had her ballet recital dress rehearsal in the same day. The end of the school year is always so busy. I'm sure I will be posting a lot in the next couple of weeks. And it is supposed to be 80 degrees this weekend!! Finally!

Craft Fair

I was in another craft fair with my friends on Saturday. My camera batteries died so I only got a couple of pics. I sold lots of bow holders and clips. My house was covered in flowers and ribbon the whole week before. Chris built me my cute stand to display them on. It was fun and I look forward to the next one.
Here is a picture of one of the bow holders up close. You can clip all of your bows and clips right on it and it looks cute. It is so nice to see what I have and then they don't get smashed into a drawer. If you want me to make you one I can. Any color or pattern.

Happy Mother's Day

I made this sign for my mother in law. I have really been into Modge Podge lately. It was so nice to have a day to think of our mothers and what they have done for us and how we can be good mothers. I take full advantage of breakfast in bed and no diaper changing. We had a nice relaxing day considering Hayley has strep. Happy Mother's Day!!

Teacher Appreciation

Since I am the room mother for Hayley's class I got to decorate her teacher's door this week for Teacher Appreciation Week. I can't believe that she only has 16 more days of school left. Mrs. Erickson has been her teacher for kindergarten and 1st. We will sure miss her.

Hayley came home today with a big envelope full of paintings and drawings that she has done at school.

Kite Flying Fun

We finally got to fly Dylan's kite that he got from Easter. He had tons of fun. It was almost 60 degrees finally. But then of course we woke up to an inch of snow this morning. Can you tell that I am so sick of Winter!!!
