On Sunday we attended church with the Montgomery’s. Later that night we attended the Eagle Court of Honor for Michael where I had the honor of giving him the Eagle Charge and Oath.
Monday (New Years Eve) we had planned as our Disneyland day. As we pulled up to the gates of the park we were surprised to see Sold Out signs. We quickly regrouped with everyone and went to Knott’s Berry Farm, which was not busy at all. There are a lot of bigger roller coasters in Knott’s, and Hayley rode almost all of them. She is our little daredevil. That night we rung in the New Year with Jayme, Brett, Jim, and Caryl.
New Years Day was our beach day.
New Years Day was our beach day.

Jill and Andy (Tammy’s aunt and uncle) had a condo just down the street that was on the beach. The only two that were brave enough (or dumb enough) to get in the water were Brett and myself. The water was freezing, but the waves were awesome. The largest wave being close to seven feet.
Our Disneyland day was moved to Wednesday the 2nd. We were lucky enough to get in the gates, but there were so many people there that we did not get to do everything that we would have liked to. As we entered the park within the first five minutes we saw Mickey. Dylan loves his Mickey doll, but he was scared to see a life size Mickey up close. It was very fun with everything still being decorated for Christmas. Hayley had an awesome time driving the car in Autotopia and going on the rides. Her favorite was Big Thunder Railroad, and Indiana Jones. On Thursday the 3rd we started our way back to “Ice”burg. We had a great trip and became closer as a family. We are looking forward to a great year, and wish everyone a Happy New Year.
