September Wrap Up

I feel like September just flew by this year. We had lots of fun and it was pretty warm for most of the month! Here is Chris and I driving up Provo canyon to Park City for a company dinner in his boss' Audi convertible! It was a beautiful drive.

Chris went up to his boss' cabin and cut lots of wood so we could be warm and toasty by the fire this Winter! I guess it was good the chickens are gone now because we filled up the shed to the top with all of this wood.

My crazy lopsided face after a trip to the dentist.

My dad being a dork like usual!

Cousin Fun

Fall soccer. Still magnet ball this year. But there are some definite good players already. Unfortunately my son is not one of them.

The whole team

We grew pumpkins for the first time this year

Our crazy jungle of tomatoes. Let's just say I don't think we need 15 tomato plants next year!

I roasted lots of grape tomatoes. (Did this about 7 times!) It makes the best spaghetti sauce!

We went to a couple last baseball games

Messy chip/licorice face= keeping Katelyn happy at baseball games

Fall skate night. Katelyn loves to be go around super fast in her stroller. It was a good workout. I was sore the next day

August in a nutshell

Hayley was in a summer choir this year. It was her first time in a choir and she loved it! This was her recital at the end of the summer.

We went to Idaho the first weekend in August for James & Katie's wedding. It was such a beautiful temple ceremony. We had fun seeing family and hanging out at the family cabin.

Cutting the cake

Great Grandma Georgia & Katelyn

We went to Thanksgiving Point to the farm one day. Hayley was petting the baby cow.

We went on a hayride

Hayley and Dylan in jail

We had a going away bbq for some friends in our ward.

(The best home teacher ever!)

The kids swam and roasted marshmallows

We did lots of swimming mostly at 7 peaks but this was a back to school party at a pool in Provo ( I think he was cold!)

We went camping at Chris' boss' cabin in Beaver Creek. Here are some of the kids

canoeing. None of our kids this time?

I got stung by a bee and a had an allergic reaction/infection. I don't know if you can tell that the arm on the right was swollen and so hard I couldn't bend it. It was no fun!

Here are the kids on the first day of school. Dylan is in 1st grade and Hayley is in 5th.

We had a fun and busy month of swimming, bbqs and lots of yummy veggies from the garden. I am always sad when summer ends.

Haering Family Reunion

We went to Escalante for Pioneer Day. All of my siblings were able to come. I think it was our first official Haering Reunion. Now that we are all married with growing families! We did a little photo shoot before Bobby and his family headed back to Arizona. This was the best one..

Arizona or Bust

Well my brother and his family just recently moved from St. Louis to the Phoenix area. We are so excited to have them 1/2 the distance closer to us! My mom mentioned going to help them move and I thought we should go too! I have never been to Phoenix and it was summer so why not! We stopped half way in Vegas. We stayed at Sam's town off of the strip. They had fun animals that looked very realistic and a cool waterfall. Katelyn was terrified of the baby deer! The girls

The best find in Chandler. The yummiest ice cream in the world!

My good friend Becca from Rick's also lives in San Tan Valley. So I stopped by for a quick visit!

Us and our kids

We went to a yummy resturaunt called San Tan Flat. It had hay on the ceiling.

After we ate we went outside to the fire pits and roasting marshmallows! Even though it was probably still 90 degrees outside. There was was some Serious roasting going on here!

On our way home we made a little detour and stayed at my sister Kristen & Adam's house in Escalante. Kristen made Hayley this yummy cheesecake! Happy 10th birthday Hayley! We had lots of fun helping Bobby and Kierra unpack. We can't wait to see them again. This time it's their turn to come to us. That is still a REALLY long drive with three kids!!
