OuR LiTtLe CuPcaKe!

The birthday girl

We had a fun 1st birthday party for Katelyn the Saturday after her birthday. I did a pink and orange cupcake theme. It turned out pretty cute! I made most everything. Her tutu, shirt, banner and all the yummy food!

She got lots of fun presents. Especially some cute summer clothes. I can't wait for her to wear them!

She really liked her cake! She probably would've eatin the whole thing if I let her!

Hope you had a fun birthday Baby Katelyn!!

Our big 1 year old

I can't believe that Katelyn is 1 already!! I always think she seems younger because she is so tiny! She only weighs 17.5 lbs. My other kids weighed that much at like 8 months. She has been crawling since 7 months. But has no desire to walk yet. For her actual birthday we took her to McDonald's. She had her first french fries (which she LOveD!) and her first ice cream sundae! She went on the slide for the first time too. I guess we haven't gone to McDonald's in a long time since we have been eating healthy. Those french fries were SO good though. We had lots of fun playing in the playland for awhile. I just can't even imagine our family without this little girl. She is so fun and hyper. She is constantly on the move. Unless she is asleep or watching Barney. We are so grateful for her and the happiness and joy she has brought to our family. We are excited for what this next year will bring.

Will you be my Valentine?

So I know I have been slacking big time on my blogging lately. One is because I have been super sick for most of the month of February. And for awhile we couldn't find our battery charger so our camera has been dead. So no pics of Valentine's day or my birthday :( Just one year older I guess. Chris and I have also been on the HCG diet since January 7th. Before and after pics to come soon. I lost 18 pounds and 13.5 inches! And Chris lost 26 pounds! We feel great except for this never ending cold! I can't wait for it to get warm outside so we can bike ride, jog, etc. Well here are some pics of Hayley and Dylan's valentines that they gave out this year. We had lots of fun making them. I thought I had a pic of the end result but this is what we made. Dylan's had a blow pop stuck through the card so it looked like he was holding it. And Hayley's had a bag of Hershey's hugs and kisses.

Happy New Year

This year we had a pretty relaxing New Year's Eve. We played Video games, hung out by the fire, did fireworks and turned all of the clocks ahead 2 hours! So we celebrated with New York and the kids didn't even know it.

Then we had a nice quiet two hours until the real New Year without any kids! Such a fun night. I think we will do this every year! Happy 2011
