I love to see the temple

When we were in Utah we got to visit the open house of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was fun for the kids to see their third temple since Rexburg. It was pretty bright so their eyes are closed. Even though it looks similar to Rexburg on the outside it is completely different on the inside. It is always nice to visit the temple!

Hayley's 8 Part 2

Hayley had a very fun birthday party at Cherry Hill with all of the cousins. We had a cake, pinata and donut eating contest. She gots lots of fun gifts and I'm sure will always remember her 8th birthday!!

Hayley's 8 Part 1

We celebrated Hayley's birthday on the 4th because we were in Utah for her actual birthday. She gots lots of fun presents. Her favorite is her high school musical purse which she takes with her everywhere now. It had to be big enough to fit a book because she reads all day long!

Her Aunt Nicole made a cute butterfly cake. I can't believe she is 8 already. Kids grow up way too fast.

Fourth Of July

For the Fourth of July we stayed home this year. We started the day off with a breakfast and flag raising ceremony with our ward, next we walked to the parade. The kids had fun collecting candy. Then we went over the Chris' parents and had a BBQ and watched the fireworks and the boys did their own for hours of course. It was a nice relaxing holiday except for Dylan who still does not like fireworks and covered his ears the whole night. Maybe next year?

Busy Busy June!

Well we had a fun and busy June! Here is Chris with his two ties the kids made him for Father's Day. Our Primary collected ties from the ward and then the week before Father's day we let the kids decorate them however they wanted. It was a fun project!

It rained for most of the month but by the end we finally went to the spray park. Dylan loved it!

Hayley finished her season of softball. We really enjoyed the girls coach pitch league. It was much better than t-ball!

We went camping with our friends the Porters but forgot to take any pictures with them. This is Hayley having fun wrapping the potatoes for dinner.

We are so lucky to have this beautiful cabin and property in the family to enjoy. Below is Chris and the kids riding on the lawn mower. Also Chris celebrated his 30th birthday. We had lots of fun camping even though we got eatin alive by mosquitos. We can't wait to go back in August.
