Busy Busy June!

Well we had a fun and busy June! Here is Chris with his two ties the kids made him for Father's Day. Our Primary collected ties from the ward and then the week before Father's day we let the kids decorate them however they wanted. It was a fun project!

It rained for most of the month but by the end we finally went to the spray park. Dylan loved it!

Hayley finished her season of softball. We really enjoyed the girls coach pitch league. It was much better than t-ball!

We went camping with our friends the Porters but forgot to take any pictures with them. This is Hayley having fun wrapping the potatoes for dinner.

We are so lucky to have this beautiful cabin and property in the family to enjoy. Below is Chris and the kids riding on the lawn mower. Also Chris celebrated his 30th birthday. We had lots of fun camping even though we got eatin alive by mosquitos. We can't wait to go back in August.

Memorial Day

We had lots of fun for Memorial Day this year. And the weather actually cooperated. As you can tell I really need a tan compared to my sistas!! Below is the new monument they put up in Heber to remember the Peace Treaty made by my ancestor Joseph Stacy Murdock with the Indians. It is across the street where his home was and was the place is actually happened. It is nice to see that he is not a forgotten figure of history.

The reason we went to Heber is for our annual cleaning of the graves. My cousin Elizabeth is going to BYU-Idaho right now so she came down with us. Below is my brother in law Brett with his big scary knife and gloves. We were laughing at him. But it actually worked really well.

We also got to take Hayley to Lagoon while my mom watched Dylan for us. It was so much fun and we were able to go on all of the big roller coasters all day. At first she was a little nervous and then after she went she thought it was awesome!! It was the perfect weather a little overcast and short lines.

Most of the time we just hung out and did lots and lots of swimming! Thanks to Grandpa Utah for heating the pool for us. We can't wait to come again!

HoRRibLe nO GoOd vErY BaD DaY!!!

So I was on my way to Sonic to get the free rootbeer floats and it was a mad house. Cars lining up down the street. So instead I went to Dairy Queen across the street. It was 8:00 and I still haven't had dinner. It was a long day of manager training and enrichment. I should have just gone home. So the line was pretty long there too and it wasn't moving. So I looked in my mirrors and backed up. By the time they honked it was too late. Dang all you small cars in blind spots!! Sad thing is that this is the second time that I have done this this year. The first guy never called back. I think this one was a little bit worse. Advice: NEVER back up in a drive-thru!!!

Dylan's 4 Part Two

For Memorial Day we went to Utah. We had another little party with lots of swimming with cousins, bbq, presents, more cupcakes and a pinata!

This is Dylan and his second cousin Noah who are only a few weeks apart in age. Below is Dylan getting ready to "smack that dinosaur" Thanks to Aunt Jayme and Kristen for getting it for him!

Dylan's 4!! Part One

We had a small bbq with the Herker's on Dylan's birthday. He got lots of fun presents! He really liked his Mario pajamas, 3d sidewalk chalk, and other toys!

Here is Dylan in his new big boy booster seat. Goodbye carseat. Except now he likes to unbuckle his seatbelt and do it himself and it takes like 5 minutes. Oh patience IS a virtue!!

We also went to McDonald's for lunch that day. He had a few friends come too. Brae, Breka, Lexie and Tanner. We ate more cupcakes and had fun playing with everyone! This is Dylan blowing out his imaginary candles. I didn't want to light fire inside the playland!
