Dylan's 4!! Part One

We had a small bbq with the Herker's on Dylan's birthday. He got lots of fun presents! He really liked his Mario pajamas, 3d sidewalk chalk, and other toys!

Here is Dylan in his new big boy booster seat. Goodbye carseat. Except now he likes to unbuckle his seatbelt and do it himself and it takes like 5 minutes. Oh patience IS a virtue!!

We also went to McDonald's for lunch that day. He had a few friends come too. Brae, Breka, Lexie and Tanner. We ate more cupcakes and had fun playing with everyone! This is Dylan blowing out his imaginary candles. I didn't want to light fire inside the playland!

Hayley's Dance Recital

This was Hayley's 3rd dance recital. She did really good and even remembered to smile. This is her and her friend Hallie.

The theme for the recital this year was Michael Jackson. This was their working day and night tap dance outfit. Below is the finale. Hayley's teacher Wendy Bone who also teaches at the college was an awesome teacher this year! Her husband is also Hayley's principal. He I guess has some dance background which is how they met. I only got the very end but he did the finale and was supposed to be Michael Jackson. We were all blown away, he did such a good job! It brought back memories of my dance days. We performed Thriller in a competition and had fun being zombies!

She really enjoyed dance this year and is turning into such a wonderful young lady. We are so proud of her.

Hayley's Play

Hayley's class did the fable the Lion and the Mouse a few weeks ago. It was really cute! She got to be a zebra and one of the mom's made these shirts with electrical tape. She had lots of fun!

Dylan's Surgery

A couple of weeks ago Dylan had his tonsils and adenoids out and more tubes put in his ears. Above is Dylan after he got his loopy medicine. I was actually pretty funny. He was like a drunk little three year old. Below is him after. He slept for a good three hours and would not wake up how hard we tried. He finally woke up and drank his water so we could go home. His recovery wasn't too bad. My mom and sister Kristen came up to help. But he did so well we still had time to go shopping. What we do best! Now that he got his adenoids out (they blocked 80%) he doesn't snore anymore! I delayed this surgery as long as I could but now am glad it is done and he is all recovered!

Easter

I know this is very late. But our lives have been super busy lately. So here is Easter better late then never. As you can see Dylan is still scared of the Easter Bunny. I got him a little closer this year. But I really tried not to be in this picture.

Chris had the bright idea to use a recyled bag for Dylan this time. So below you can see Dylan with his ginormous green bag. I attached it around him so he wouldn't drag it behind him.

We were so glad to have a nice Easter this year especially since there was no snow!!

We also had an easter egg hunt on Saturday with some friends at dinner club. They gots lots and lots of yummy candy for Dad to eat this year!
