Hayley's Play

Hayley's class did the fable the Lion and the Mouse a few weeks ago. It was really cute! She got to be a zebra and one of the mom's made these shirts with electrical tape. She had lots of fun!

Dylan's Surgery

A couple of weeks ago Dylan had his tonsils and adenoids out and more tubes put in his ears. Above is Dylan after he got his loopy medicine. I was actually pretty funny. He was like a drunk little three year old. Below is him after. He slept for a good three hours and would not wake up how hard we tried. He finally woke up and drank his water so we could go home. His recovery wasn't too bad. My mom and sister Kristen came up to help. But he did so well we still had time to go shopping. What we do best! Now that he got his adenoids out (they blocked 80%) he doesn't snore anymore! I delayed this surgery as long as I could but now am glad it is done and he is all recovered!

Easter

I know this is very late. But our lives have been super busy lately. So here is Easter better late then never. As you can see Dylan is still scared of the Easter Bunny. I got him a little closer this year. But I really tried not to be in this picture.

Chris had the bright idea to use a recyled bag for Dylan this time. So below you can see Dylan with his ginormous green bag. I attached it around him so he wouldn't drag it behind him.

We were so glad to have a nice Easter this year especially since there was no snow!!

We also had an easter egg hunt on Saturday with some friends at dinner club. They gots lots and lots of yummy candy for Dad to eat this year!

Fairy Tale Ball

Hayley had her very first ball. It was for the entire second grade and they each had to dress up as a fairy tale character. She was going to be Belle but her dress doesn't really fit anymore. So the night before she choose to be Arielle. I bought this mermaid costume a while back and it worked good enough. The had to wear their dance card and they danced to 7-8 songs. They did some Idaho Stomp dance and then a few waltzes. They had a daddy/daughter waltz. I think Chris caught on pretty quick.

Here is Hayley dancing the waltz with a boy. She is growing up so fast. Below is our Jack and the Beanstalk corner. Each corner had a theme. It was fun to be creative with some other moms.

Overall it was a fun time. Even though Hayley was embarrassed a lot! I can't believe second grade is almost over.

Trip to Utah

Dylan and I went to Utah for 10 days a few weeks ago. My camera decided to die on the trip so I didn't get any good pictures. It was my mom's big 50!!! So my sister Jayme planned a surprise party for her. I called her on the way there on the shuttle bus and she asked me why I wasn't coming. Of course I had to lie to her. My sister Kristen also came from California. We surprised her so good that she started crying. So the lies were so worth it!

Then the next weekend was the annual Spring Home and Garden Show that we have been in for the last 5 years or so. I think I sold some pools finally this year!! We look forward to Spring and hope to visit Utah again soon!
